From a young age, Rilu wanted to be nothing more than an adventurer. She felt out of place with her life while living in the Northern Water Tribe, where her destiny seemed to always be paved out for her. She prefers the free-spirit approach to life, which is reflected in her sometimes selfish and blunt nature, lacking manners and a sense of maturity, feeling these things are far too overestimated in importance. She considers herself a wandering pirate, or perhaps merely a petty thief, flowing from town to town with nothing but the barest of rations and her two rodent companions.Rilu arrives at a trading port west of Chin, where one ill choice manages to get her into far more trouble than she'd expected. Fortunately, in wholly generous act, a passing traveller chooses to lend her a hand, unknowing of the chaos that lies ahead...
Rilu likes...how funny Kye is, eating, sleeping, getting into your personal space, noising through things that aren't hers, money, treasure, excercise, rain, showing off, getting her way, haggling, having her ego stroked, telling stories, her rats
Rilu dislikes...dealing with confrontational people, being groped, being stolen from (she'll catch you.), false promises, swimming, being wet, being one-upped, not getting her way, being scolded by elders, people not believing her stories, things that try to eat her rats

For new watchers, this is my Avatar (The last airbender) OC, Rilu, she's been around since 2009 with Ty's OC Kye.

Please do not copy or "borrow" the design, that includes her outfit.
Please do not use this as your roleplaying character and change her name/backstory. It's just rude. If you really want your OC illustrated, commission me or find someone doing free sketches instead- DA is full of people offering them!

I'm honestly really excited for it.
Could I ask you one tiny favor though? I just have some questions about the composition of the outfit.
1. what kind of fabric were you thinking of? Clearly it is a heavier fabric but was it like a leathery or a fleece
2. The sleeves on the blue part is the black stripe in the middle sewn on to the blue parts? or is it part of the underneath showing through, like the blue near the wrist is an arm-warmer.
(I think that is the only questions I have.)

As far as fabrics go... hmm.
I'm fairly sure all of the blue parts of her outfit are padded, fleece interior with a more durable fabric on the outside, perhaps a soft canvas. But that's technical, the fleece doesn't have to be sewn in for hassle purposes;;;
(The fur is probably real as far as the avatar universe is concerned, but we know fake is more than enough for looks x//D; )
The black sleeves are actually gloves- the underneath showing through. They're like skin-hugging cotton/jersey of some kind. The hand piece itself has only one finger to be hooked over, the middle one. The arm warmer and dress are unattached to any black. ^^

Well, the timeframe of the story is during when the gaang are off saving the world, but our characters never come into contact or even know of the canon group. We just need the timeframe to be when the fire nation is still at war. xD

Maybe do it when gang were little and Aang was still inside the ice. Like the attack of the Southern Water Tribe, or something like that.
How about after Zuko's mom was kicked out of the Fire Nation. Your characters can met her some how . I don't know about these idea, but I hope it help in anyway. ^_^

Haha. We don't really have any specific time, but I don't think it's around any significant canon event like that. Not even the lunar or solar eclipse, just somewhere in between.
xD They don't need to meet any of the canon ocs for any reason that I'm aware of, so yeah. Thank you for the help though.
