From a young age, Rilu wanted to be nothing more than an adventurer. She felt out of place with her life while living in the Northern Water Tribe, where her destiny seemed to always be paved out for her. She prefers the free-spirit approach to life, which is reflected in her sometimes selfish and blunt nature, lacking manners and a sense of maturity, feeling these things are far too overestimated in importance. She considers herself a wandering pirate, or perhaps merely a petty thief, flowing from town to town with nothing but the barest of rations and her two rodent companions.Rilu arrives at a trading port west of Chin, where one ill choice manages to get her into far more trouble than she'd expected. Fortunately, in wholly generous act, a passing traveller chooses to lend her a hand, unknowing of the chaos that lies ahead...
Rilu likes...how funny Kye is, eating, sleeping, getting into your personal space, noising through things that aren't hers, money, treasure, excercise, rain, showing off, getting her way, haggling, having her ego stroked, telling stories, her rats
Rilu dislikes...dealing with confrontational people, being groped, being stolen from (she'll catch you.), false promises, swimming, being wet, being one-upped, not getting her way, being scolded by elders, people not believing her stories, things that try to eat her rats

For new watchers, this is my Avatar (The last airbender) OC, Rilu, she's been around since 2009 with Ty's OC Kye.
Please do not edit the images on this piece for your own use, or post it on sites outside DeviantART.
Please do not copy or "borrow" the design, that includes her outfit.
Please do not use this as your roleplaying character and change her name/backstory. It's just rude. If you really want your OC illustrated, commission me or find someone doing free sketches instead- DA is full of people offering them!

Love your character sheets. Could you pretty please make a tutorial on "How to do character sheets"? ^_^' I'd love to know what are the major points to consider when building up a character like that, and what are the most important things to mention in character description. ^_^ Pleeeaaazzzze ^____^
I'll share it with my friends too, they'd love to know more about it as well

To summarize it, you include something like "name (and a nickname probably), age, origin (water tribe in this case), physical parameters" and then add something that stands out in that person (or creature) more, and that makes his or her personality (like jewelry, little things to carry around, scars, behavioral traits, and so on)?
But then comes the graphics, and it's good if you have all of sketches that represent the character best, but what if you're inventing the character from scratch? ^_^' What are the most important.. um.. angles of view that should be on the page? 'Cause I've seen lot's of ways people do theirs, and some of them are fine, but others look weird. How do you .. "reduce" this weirdness?

First paragraph is spot on!
As for sketches to include... Definitely a full body shot of some kind, to show them from head to toe, in whatever outfit you like them best in, or their default one. If they're layered (Like Rilu is) then a little description of their first layer would be good too. Ummm. If they are really specific and have certain designs on say the face or parts of the body (Like tattoos or scars or piercings, etc) then a sketch of any points of interest like that would be good. I'm actually going to be doing one that requires close ups of certain things like that, too.
The rest is pretty much up to you and what you'd like to show for your OC. Some people do front, side, and back shots to be thorough, but I'd only do that if they had something important to show off on one of those sides. Close ups of their face is always good too, if you want to show off their facial features.
@u@; The rest is sort of just free-for-all... I'm working on like 3 other Ref Sheets right now so I'm sure I'll have more up sometime eventually for you to look at for reference.
