Personality: She's a tender, nurturing and warm individual. Raine is highly empathetic, on par with sylveon and gardevoir gijinka. Cautious and hesitant to put herself in dangerous situations, but can overcome her hesitation for the sake of others. She has a strong desire to see people living in harmony, and build a world where everyone and every culture has a place to belong. Raine is a good listener, able to coax people's worries out of their mouths and appreciates silence. A natural people pleaser. She also gives the impression of someone who gained wisdom though life experience when she gives out advice.

Backstory: "On August 2nd, Jingyi and Renjiro Takara was thrice blessed"- Local midwife announcement of the births.
The triplets were conceived when a spiritually gifted wisewoman encountered a very injured traveller from the Sun Empire. He was near comatose and would have surely died if he didn't get help soon, and so Jingyi brought him back to her hidden village. While she was nursing him back to full health, the two fell in love and naturally followed their hearts. Their bond was looked down upon by the village elders who were wary of the outsider to begin with. They decreed that once he was well enough to walk, he would be forced a potion that would make him forget everything and sent back. Jingyi protested this, but was helpless to stop it all. Eventually she found out she was pregnant and left her cloistered village to find her love once again. The three were born before she managed to leave the shores of the Jade Imperium.

Raine was the youngest of the three, kind and fair, protected by both of her older brothers- the oldest was a minun named Regis, and the middle child was an eevee named Reyson. They grew up in a coastal village where their mother bid her time for they were too young to cross the ovean to find her love. Raine would remember long lazy summer days hunting bugs with her brother and havesting crab baskets by the light of the moon. Finally on their 7th birthday, mother deemed them old enough to come with her to Jade Imperium where they would finally start looking for their mysterious father together. Stragedy struck however when the ship they were on board struck a rock and sank before they were reached Radiant Harbour for days on end she would wander the shoreline calling out to her brother and mother, hoping they were alive, and searching for a father she'd only heard stories about, and knew nothing of her. Eventually she was found by Glenn, a milotic diviner who saw a bright future ahead for her. He took her in and pretty much adopted her before sudgesting she take up priestess training.

Raine grew up studying to help cope with her pain and loss. There were many prayers, and many tears, but she took to them well. She had inherited her mother's spiritual aptitude, and was determined to practice the arts as a way of staying connected to her lost family. Eventually she would go on a pillgrimiage to figure out which temple she was best suited for, finally settling in at a local temple of Mesprit. It was uncommon to join such a small temple, after all the deity wasn't widely looked to, but the philosphy of comforting others and having her feelings of intense sadness and loss be seen as valid resonated with her. She wanted to be able to bring a smile to people's faces as the kindness of strangers had so long ago.

She was eventually reunited with her brother Regius, but you'd have to be close friends with her to unlock that dark backstory.

The hairband and kanzashi she wears are a gift from her brother <3
The trio have two names, and share the same initials. If you look carefully, they have the first initials from both their parents.
In their mother's village there was a practice of using a "secret name". Basically there is magic linked to using their true name, and the more people know it, the weaker the protection spell on them is. Giving out your secret name means you're willing to share the magical protection with them. For this reason, Raine doesn't talk about the "Jiyuuko" in her name.
In her spare time, Raine is an apprentice matchmaker! She follows a philosophy of making a love match based on compatible emotional states rather than matching based on similar family backgrounds and economic backgrounds.
