Description
A scary lantern monster based on the Chōchin obake Yokai.

He can summon floating lanterns from his staff that are designed to attract whatever victim he decided to scare. These lanterns will lead them to the location in which Ghostlight in hiding and will illuminate what they desire most, but they quickly turn into monsters and scare them till they are white as ghosts so Ghostlight can drain their energy and store it in his staff. Therefore making him stronger with every bit of energy he drains.

The staff he holds can also be used as a weapon to attack with. Depending on how much energy he stole, he can either shoot light beams if he has little, fire yellow lasers if he has a medium supply, or blast light orbs that will follow the target until they explode if he has a full tank of energy.

He is very sinister and enjoys scaring people just for fun, but he has his own limits to who he can scare as he has a soft spot for little kids and babies. Either way, he usually tends to focus on the task at hand. He also has a creepy demeanor and usually tries to act scary in the best way he can. What’s ironic is that he has a fear as well. A fear of cats, mostly cause it reminded him about that awful day when he was just a little one and a cat bit him on the knee.

This is the 8th and last Yokai monster for Eli-J-Brony ’s Stealthrangers series.

His powers are mostly a reference to Pennywise from the movie It except Ghostlight dosen’t kill people unlike Pennywise The Dancing Clown. And it also calls back to Pennywise’s true form being a ball of light.
