I used this art in my facebook's page cover. Not sold or anything, just used as illustration. And gave credit to you.Β Β Β Β

Great work. Did you model it and texture it at low poly or did you model/ texture it high poly then decreased it later on ?

Sort of Covenant-like, especially the blue glow at the end. Could imagine this as a plasma weapon of sorts.

That's what I call eyecandy! ^^
I'm still struggling with baking normals...not sure if I need to UV unwrap my high poly model before the normal map baking or not.
Keep up the great work!
Greetz.

Thanks man!
No, you don't need to unwrap the highpoly

Brilliant modelling here, I have but the faintest clue when it comes to making heavily detailed 3D machinery, hence why I stay in my own real of natural scenery (quite the opposite actually) But needless to say, if I could do things like this, I'd be doing it often

2 Criticism:
1.- The turrets remember me to those in Classic UT
2.- The "DA" logo in the right remember me a lot the Doom 3 "UAC" logo
Skipping that, everything is really awesome!
I like the lighting effect used in the top.

The turret will probably be implemented into the game using the Unreal3 engine which may be the art direction the group wants.
Also, I highly doubt the logos are his decisions.
