Stuffing: Alice in Wonderland theme - Mushrooms, butterfly and hanging "drink me" bottles.
Personality: Doc is a very quirky individual. He has interests many view as odd, but they just come across as fascinating to him - he's drawn to anything weird and wonderful, anything with more than four legs or an appearance people commonly find disgusting. While his vested interest in these odd creatures, items and stories come across as strange to others, so does his compassion. He's kind and full of love and all he wants to do is share it, really - he loves to teach and show people his version of the world which is one his peers may not commonly see, but he doesn't always know how to actually go about doing that. He doesn't have a whole lot of friends, but he tries not to let it get to him in the long run. (Hint: It gets to him a lot.)

Backstory: Doc was the only toy his owner accepted. His fur was just the right kind of soft and his body was the right weight, size and squishiness - anything else was instantly discarded or in some cases, caused his kid so much revulsion that he would go into fits of panic and fear over the idea of being forced to touch and pretend to love other plushies. He was found at the very bottom of the pile, the only "perfect" plush in the batch, and immediately taken home. He learned very quickly that his child's name was Francis, but he would only answer to Frankie if he answered at all. Frankie was out of place around other humans, but plushies don't judge. They only exist. This straight-forward, blase way of thinking was passed to Doc and occasionally his blunt statements can cause tension between himself and others.
Doc lived a relatively happy life, actually. A heart was sewn into his chest by Frankie's mother to represent the fact that Doc's heart couldn't be felt like a human's could be, so Frankie grew concerned he couldn't feel - in response, his mother sewed on a heart. Doc was used to being sewn together because he was carried around literally everywhere with Frankie - he gained the normal cuts and scrapes any companion would, but his didn't heal without a little help. He became a mish-mash of stitches and "scars", including an entire new set of legs after a horrendous prank by other children.

His ribbon actually came about the day that he was lost. On a trip to the museum, Frankie stole a ribbon from one of the displays because he enjoyed the way it felt - it was inconsequential, really, but it got him in a lot of trouble. One of the museum workers noticed the missing piece from the historical exhibit and called out when she saw it on Doc's ear and the terrified Frankie ran for it, the concept of being in trouble and being punished for doing something he knew was bad being far too much to bear. He ran through the museum and out of it, running into the forest behind it. The more he ran, the more he wore himself out and eventually he had to lay down to rest, falling asleep on a bed of moss. While a search party quickly found Frankie, Doc was dropped down a rabbit hole in an old tree stump on the way back home, along with the stopwatch of the man carrying him.

He waited.

Hours turned to days, to months and to years and Doc was never found, his plush body becoming a host to a vast array of fungi, mosses and even some animals. It has since been repaired by the Street Doctors, but he's never truly shaken the feeling of being left behind and being alone in a cold, dark woods. His stopwatch is still stuck on the first minute of his first thunderstorm in the forest.
