I must say I started this immediately when I got the idea, I know you've had an awful time lately dear yellowdizzylombax. And all I want for you is to feel better. Art speaks louder than words.

Messed up the armour a little but it still looks fine, tho I can honestly say this is my best piece Iv done so far, exactly what I pictured. I'm glad it was for a friend.
This is not Ratchet but his evil side 'Hunter'. I recommend reding yellowdizzylombax fanfic 'good vs evil'.

Since there's been few people asking about a storyline of picture, so I decided to do
a scenario / outline to go with the picture, it doesn't affect the good vs evil fanfiction, this is just a story to connect with the picture. (Plaese don't ask if this story is a layout of the the good vs evil fanfiction it is completely off scale, I have no idea what is actually going to happen in the GvsE).
Although at some point Hunter would give in trying to fully possess Ratchet and accept his fate, being stuck in Ratchet body forever and making Ratchets life a living hell.
Saying as tho there were two existing souls in one body (by then mostly everyone would have known about Hunter's existence, as well as Zafina Magnes) it could never settle knowing there was a dangerous evil being in the hero to Zafina, so she discovered a few scientists that were experienced with separating souls from a body. They helped release Hunter into a body of his own, a spitting image of his true form. It including a full set of emotions as Hunter lived off the 7 evil sins of Ratchet, Hunter was finally able to experience life like an ordinary being. He finally had the chance of developing a personality of his own. He was no longer a force of evil.
Here, Hunter is now leaving to live a life of his own. The reason why Ratchet is still exists was because he stayed strong during the destruction of Hunter.
Hunter now understands Ratchet for not giving up. His final words to Ratchet was 'stay strong'. Before they go their separate ways.

There wasn't much of a story in the picture, I needed some contrast and bright colours so I focused more on the effects.
The cause of the picture was for a friend ~YellowDizzyLombax
Anyway this is just a prediction, probably far off the scale, doesn't matter. (My main objective was to cheer up yellowdizzylombax)

Actually no, just a little prediction to go with the picture. Tho the soul separating thing is kinda of a good idea, might mention it to Amber maybe or do another picture based off the little prediction
Tbh your not the only one that's asked me about the background story. I decided to create a prediction or a scenario to connect with the picture.
I didn't have a story behind at all till someone asked about it so I decided to make one, plus the feel of it was kinda random the fact that Hunter is smiling, it didn't make sense. He was completely OC, so I needed a story to sum it up and make it link to Ambers (yellowdizzylombax) situation.
It made my heart sink to realise what she'd been through lately.

There's not much of a story going on, I thought I'd experiment with colours and background. Tho Id say Hunter has a side of humanity as a individual and as yellowdizzylomabax OC without ratchet, maybe.
I kinda forgot the scruffs of fur on his ears, oh well.

The best part is seeing your art skills improve throughout the years, that's what i love about art, is that your constantly moving forward and than getting to look back at your progress and seeing your improvement. I still look at mine to get motivation now and then. ^U^
