FOR REAL THO if you reread the book he totally has depression. he's an awesome character. he's one of the few characters with a sense of humor and he makes morally grey decisions and then feels fucking bad about them and he has like half a breakdown in the middle of the book--

Tbh like I always admired how you draw animals so often? I gotta get a grip on my animal anatomy because its awful.
I've always felt like cats definitely have a rounder and sloopier (sloopy? slope?) skull that has deceptively subtle curves. Their eyes seem to be much more front facing whereas dogs eyes tend to gravitate to the sides more, except in the case of dogs with flatter faces. Dogs eyes are just far apart in general, and much smaller in proportion to cats' huge peepers. And I notice that cat's noses and the bridges of their noses tend to point down more than dogs. Idk, these are just observations really. It's especially difficult because dog's faces can be so varied, whereas cats are fairly similar even when they're different.

I bet it's not even that bad, man. You just gotta look up refs the first time and draw a rectangle and you'll be fine, lol. or if you're having trouble with the body, I think I already gave you that one super helpful tutorial about the spine? I can link it again though if you want.
yeh, I used skull references to draw the four faces at the top, but that's the only reason the cats look alright. Every time I have to draw a cat, I either draw a chihuahua or get a ref. those are my two options, lol.
