Forgotten. Lost and alone. Left to rust away in the jungle.
Wow. Loads of emotion in a photo of an old steam engine.

It seems that trains, like humans, have skeletons to remind of of their/our mortality. Solid shot!

ooooooh I LOVE abandoned stuff and trains, this is really awesome. How long do you think this old train has been here? I would have liked to see what it looks like on the inside! ^^

With the name of the photo, and ithe locationin Krakow, made me think of the old role playing game, Twilight 2000.
BTW, this is amongst the very best abandoned steamer pic I've seen in my life. Seriously, in the top 5...ever.

hmm... If I can convince the overlords of my house to go to Poland this weekend and build up enough money for 4 plane tickets, get a passport, a new camera, and TRACK down the location of the engine, then build up enough money to restore it... I'll own an engine that's in another country.

Beauty can still have a sad component and take nothing away from its beauty, it could be argued that is the very reason for its being beautiful.

it's amazing!
i love to see works that get your brain going...
like this makes you think of 'what will our world look like when we disappear one day?'
we have so many things and we take them for granted...
but like our own flesh, everything goes back into the earth...
it's so inspiring i may write a poem based on this idea?
