Description bladerunner esque city. very much inspired by imperial boy, with color scheme being more on the desaturated side. still very rough. was painted from a pencil sketch that started out at about 2x4 inches. hurray for blowing things up.
less texture than im use to. my next environment works will focus more on form and light and less on texture.

this would be a great piece to model. in spite of it being kinda chaotic i still think it'd lend itself to 3d rather well as the silhouettes of stuff are pretty well defined. specially like the look of the railcar(?) suspended from the ceiling of the tunnel.

yeah i should def clean this up and model it. would make a nice portfolio piece... will probably get to that after learning more about lighting and after i have a few more 3d characters under my built ;D
yuh there's some railcars meant to be like trollies upside down. was a prof's idea hah

This is awesome! <3 The only thing is the center area that's mostly pencil sketch could be painted over with some light yellow/pink to add more depth

wow man, this concept is a step up from most of what I've seen from you. This is definitely worth finishing up. I think you should take your time, plan out your perspective carefully, and polish this one up all the way. Forget focusing form and light on your next one, do it with THIS one!

thanks bro. im def stickin with this one. maybe if i make the perspective a bit more curved on the right side itll look more dynamic. i know the left is a bit off. its because the building isnt parallel with the ones on the opposite side. so it seems like its not in proper perspective. i think if i make the foreground a bit more circular as well itll make sense. the building on the left is centralized while the others wrap around.
