The main thing is to get waste canvas. I'm pretty bad at photoshop so any tutorial I made would probably be pretty bad. [link] This should help if you want to learn more.

I made the pattern myself by tracing it onto graph paper. Pretty easy really.

The graph paper was 10 squares per inch. The cross stitch fabric was 14 per inch so whatever you draw will be stitched smaller. There are plenty of free patterns on da and the internet though if you don't wanna go to the trouble of designing your own.
