Cassidy

Her life has been destroyed by men.

When she was 13 years old her brother Djamal was involved in drug and weapon traffic as he was a member of the Bloods. Djamal killed a cop, and the brother of this cop was in fact a member of the Aryan Brotherhood. In a ride for vengeance he decides to capture and torture Cassidy in order to lure his brother out and kill him.

Beaten to death, tortured and raped she was released during an assault by the FBI, but was seriously injured in the incident as she was hit by 3 bullets including one in the face. She resumed her life, away from her family and eventually rebuilt herself. Although she bears the many scars of the violence she has suffered, she has decided not to worry about people’s perception of her. She became a child's social worker and also an accomplished athlete.

But a rumour has been going around town for some time: at night, a young black woman with scars is allegedly attacking people who abuse children but escape justice.
