The only thing wrong with your very good four portraits is they reminds us of what the Ghost in the Shell movie should be. Personally, I like Scarlett Johansson, especially as the Black Widow and that is the problem. Motoko Kusanagi she just is not.
Come to think of it "Black Widow verses the Major" might make for a heck of a mash-up.

I'm not convinced neither even if I'm a fan of Scarlett Johansson. She was divine in her 1st Black widow appearence with her long curly read hair.
But as a fan of GITS I've a lot of doubt about the american version.

The sad thing is they could have fun with the idea that as a cyborg, Motoko's look is changeable and use several actresses for the role. Then have a comic go at the meaning of identity as a running side story. But I fear it will be all too serious.
