My Nightmare Contest entry from :icon:deviantsgallery: deviantsgallery.deviantart.com… => deviantsgallery.deviantart.com…1 hours of work.
This is a nightmare I did for years when I was a child.
I saw a monstrous worms pursuing a little girl on barren land, the little girls holds a dandelion in her hands.
I never understood the signification of this nightmare.

Well, there's just a sandworm is very similar to your picture..
but more like a "Constrictus" from the cartoon "The Pirates of Dark Water"

I'd be careful about dream analysing though a lot of books about it are useless. The best person to understand what the dream is about is you, think about the sort of stuff going on at the time and look for any similarity's between events of the dream and what was going on physically and mentally for you at the time
