This says so much at once, and so many different things to different observers. I see an idle piano waiting to be played by an experienced hand who will, unbeknownst to the instrument, never grace its keys again. It is tragedy and loneliness. Congratulations on your DD. You definitely deserved it!

I could feel the loneliness in this photo. I like the effect you use to contrast some of the light and shadows with the picture. I'd would suggest for you to play around with moving the chair or furniture at an angle and try all sorts of other angles with the shot in the future. I could feel somewhat of a back story coming on with this photo other than it just a chair and loneliness.

It looks solitary and alone. So sad. TT~TT but the chair waits faithfully for its master

Does this have something to do with Shakespeare's Sonnet #106? Because that was my first thought.

no, i often put numbers for titles, so this is just a coincidence

I love the balance of dark against light, solid shapes against flowing curtains, and the wood grain leading our eye forward. Rich range of tones, nice depth of field. I might try to clean up the imperfections, especially in dark areas (I assume they are artefacts created in scanning?) but that's minor. It's a lovely picture.

thank you very much, Sophie I wanted to create vintage look, so i put some scratches on photo for that reason.

D'oh! Ignore the comment. Although I'll point out that making the scratches look a little weathered themselves would add to the aged look...
Wait, no, continue ignoring my comments.. Clearly, you know what effect you're trying to achieve. ^_^
