Warning: MLPFIM FINALE SPOILERS YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!Also I’ve made Headcanons/Alterations so if you hate Fluttercord, PLEASE just walk away! I don’t want to see any complaining in the comments.
So I squealed like a fricken mouse during the finale!
Now I can die peacefully knowing my OTP is pretty much endgame!
Also I found out that in the original Script Discord was supposed to kiss Fluttershy? I don’t know why they cut it.
I love that Discord and Flutters are running the Animal Sanctuary together!
But if your still thinking,
Is Discord still immortal? What does they’re future look like?
Well here’s what I think, Discord is still immortal but he had the power to take it away this whole time, however the price for getting rid of his immortality is his chaotic powers would go with it.
Discord never had a reason to give up his immortality, that is until he was reformed and developed a special bond with Fluttershy. The thought of Fluttershy passing on and him staying behind understandably terrified Discord to his core. His original plan was to slow down Fluttershy’s aging without ever telling her (yes I believe Discord has the ability to do that because let’s face it Discord is OP AF) but then he realized she wouldn’t want to watch her friends and family pass on without her, So Discord finally came to the conclusion that when Fluttershy is her elderly years He’ll give up his immortality so he can pass on with his love!
After hearing Discord’s plan Fluttershy is overjoyed and until they’re time comes they’ll have a wonderful life together! Full of Love, Adventure and Chaos.

Well, FlutterCord not 100% officially canon but the writers and the staff that worked on MLP: FIM would like each fan of MLP: FIM to interrupt what Fluttershy and Discord relationship as Romantic or just Friendship as it shows here: www.tumblr.com/dashboard/blog/…
You can think that Fluttercord isn't canon but some people allowed to actually to see FlutterCord as canon.

Yet as for Twilight who is immortal, Discord must suffer that and I do not think he can do anything about it.
In terms of slowing Shy's aging, hmm, possible, but that would be visible in the last episode "The last problem" and Unfortunately, this is not the case, but the idea is interesting !
