As Tinker-Kill left, Tanya (or Wave, though she didn't feel much like 'Wave' with her powers nullified and her visor gone) was already attempting to get a better look at her restraints. She could feel them drawing the energy out of her, keeping her powers intact but unusable as long as they made skin contact. She had no doubt that they would have no effect on the solution if she were to be dissolved, as terrifying as the thought was, because as insane as Tinker-Kill was, she was too smart for that...

Wave twisted and turned, trying to maneuver herself into a position she could work with. She just couldn't manage to twist her wrists enough or get even the ghost of a grip on the chains, however, and the slow descent and certain death it lead did little to help her concentration.

"Come on...!" She breathed with desperation, attempting to pull her left hand toward her right with no success.

Still she found herself getting lower and lower...
