We're coming into a new year soon, and I've been going through a few things in my drawings and in my growth as an artist. I've been making small changes in my characters the past few years, and recently I thought that maybe it's time to go for a fresher look for my web persona.

So here we go, with a potential-new Tanja the Bat.

Well, thinking about it, it's not exactly 'new'--just edited. I didn't want to take away the clarity of her character and design, rather just switch it up and have colors that make better sense to me. The glasses are probably the biggest change. I figured it was appropriate since I do wear them.

This is slowly growing on me, and I'd like to think of it as a shift in look rather than personality. Tanja's still tough and willing to fight for her friends. I do think the glasses make her look older...oO

Maybe we could think of this as taking place during the year of the "Tossed in Space" arc of Archie's Sonic! (On second thought, no, that's a terrible idea...)
