I was recently rewatching the early Pokemon episodes, and "Electric Shock Showdown" earned a special place in my heart. So I started doodling Ash/Satoshi's Pikachu and Lt. Surge/Matis' Raichu in gijinka form, Gen 1 battle style. I had fun. xDMy Pikachu doodle was semi-inspired by www.deviantart.com/art/Gijinka⦠Go admire it!

I just watched that episode with my girlfriend! I love the old pokemon episodes!

This was the episode that made me love Raichu more than Pikachu.
It was the episode that convinced me that Raichu was hands down my favorite Pokemon, being cute, and powerful at the same time.
