Uuuuuuggghhhhh, this took 3 days to sketch, compose, recompose, add more stuff--my brain hurts.
Anyway, Paper-Mario-Zine on Tumblr is making a Paper Mario magazine, all proceeds going to charity, and calling for artists to bring forth Paper Mario goodness! paper-mario-zine.tumblr.com/po…
This is my entry for them, a re-imagining of one of my favorite scenes from Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, where Vivian turns her back on villainy and joins Mario's team, going up against the deceiving Doopliss who stole Mario's image.
Whatever happens, whether mine makes it or not, I am SUPER HAPPY with how this came out.

I thought it would make a nice visual indicator that it's definitely not Mario. I know in the game Doopliss doesn't have them in his disguise, but I liked the idea.
