Uuuuuuggghhhhh, this took 3 days to sketch, compose, recompose, add more stuff--my brain hurts.
Anyway, Paper-Mario-Zine on Tumblr is making a Paper Mario magazine, all proceeds going to charity, and calling for artists to bring forth Paper Mario goodness! paper-mario-zine.tumblr.com/po…
This is my entry for them, a re-imagining of one of my favorite scenes from Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, where Vivian turns her back on villainy and joins Mario's team, going up against the deceiving Doopliss who stole Mario's image.
Whatever happens, whether mine makes it or not, I am SUPER HAPPY with how this came out.

Vivian's my favorite character, but actually my favorite chapter was the Glitz Pit. My brother and I loved the mystery about it.

I can see that. The disappearances of the minors, the ominously emails from X, Joleane and Grubba looking kore shady by the minute, it's no mystery to why everyone loves Glitz & Glory

Admittedly, I do think Grubba was the better ring announcer. He has such pizzazz compared to the more serious Jolene. XD

The back tracking in that chapter was a pain but having Vivan join your team made it worth while

This is FANTASTIC!! I really love it. Chapter 4 was by far the best Chapter in the game. I'm also gonna attempt my Mario act:

???: I'm... I'm sorry Sis... This Mario is the only person who's ever been kind to me...

Vivian: Mario! I'm fighting on your side from now on!

Vivian: I've... I've made my choice! And I'm not turning back!
Me: .............Okay. Stay heads up Viv. I'm gonna need much of your help now.

It took you Three Days to make this? Call me Impressed.
Definitely One of the Top Moments in the Game. Vivian makes the decision to leave behind her past life of Manipulation, Deceit, and Abuse, and to start anew with Mario, on a Quest to Uncover the Truth. She's lived a life alone as a Shadow, but now that Shadow wants to see the Light..... Even if it costs her everything.
It's one of the main reason Vivian's my Favorite Partner in the Game: You see her Transition from being this Shy, Scared, and Constantly Abused Girl, to being Courageous, Caring, and Humble, Despite the Immense Power she Possesses.
Then Again, You could make that Argument for the Rest of the Partners in the Game.
