Description Animated pixel iMac. I was bored. *shrug*
Done in three and a half hours in GIMP 2.6 pixel by pixel
Bonus points if you can guess what all the dock icons are.

Want to see more computers animated? Give me some suggestions. Really, anything! I might do an ISMAI 8080 next.

I oringally thought it was cool! Personally, it's hard to see it when it's small and I'd like to read what it might be saying. I can tell some of the original stuff from Apple iMac. However, the style is quite unique. The speed wasn't too fast or slow. You can see the computer is being shut down and restarted over and over. It was like...the computer is doing by our own thoughts inside of us using the mouse or keyboard. Oh, just a suggestion, wouldn't the apple glow up (the one that's on the computer below) glow up to green or red to show the computer is on or off?
Beside that, this is really unique like never seen before! e.deviantart.net/emoticons/n/n… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title="Nod" /> Seems to me, you took your time working on it, and make it look like someone is actually on the computer when there's no mouse or anything! e.deviantart.net/emoticons/r/r… " width="29" height="27" alt="" title="rofl" /> The way the computer shuts down is when everything is else gets shut down is quite well and the way it should be.

It's only on the Notebook computers where the Apple logo lights up. The iMac logo is just a solid lump of black plastic.

Thank-you for the critique.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Ben-Anderson In reply to customcrossfusions [2010-02-22 08:55:02 +0000 UTC]

I'd go and buy a DVI monitor instead of using a VGA monitor.

VGA was made redundant when DVI was released in 1999, DVI is a digital display adaptor (VGA is analogue) and is of much higher quality.
