WOW! Absolutely awe inspiring beauty and scale, especially considering it was a speed painting.
I really love the scale of this painting! It is really accented by two things: the bridge and the pole thingys. They help establish the first two out of the five layers of this painting.
The painting itself is very interesting as well, making itself appear to be the oasis at the rim of the wasteland, yet it is almost foreshadowed that the city itself is but a "shadow" of its original self. A place of great fortune and importance. But after a big event, it seems as though the city itself is content with the peaceful life it has now, shown in part by the shabby hand-made bridge and the small fire in the castle ruins.

Really loved it!

Well done speedpaint. The only thing that saddens me about this is that I can't stop thinking about what it would look like if it was fully detailed.

Great job.

Rarely do i work up my personal pieces because of time, mostly just a couple of hours for fun and practice rather than a whole days rendering. Cheers, glad you like it though

Beautiful. Great lighting. Though I feel like the lighted edge of the mountain would be brighter than the sky on the edge for some reason... because it's pointed directly at the sun. I think if you lighten the edges of the bright side of the mountain right next to the shaded side, it would really pop.
