Yes, at least he had a small cameo, and Pierce, too. But it would have been nice if they showed the team´s reaction about Pierce´s death (if he really died), and there was no explain for Manny and Helen´s complete exclusion while their colleagues showed up.

Deep down I suspect that these flaws and others were deliberate to low rantings, so OV would be very well received.

Totally agree. Even when i like Pierce, i was hoping his death would help to give the show more maturity after the advisible fate of the aliens of andromeda.

Their end was too rushed, they simply showed up "hey, we´re alive!" to never come back. An unfair treatment for characters we came to appreciate - my favorite was R´aad, who looked deeper, for in spite of his flaws he cared for his friends at the point of trying to get revenge on Ben.   I figure out that probably Dwayne was pressed to finish soon the Kevin saga. I heard a lot that he wanted to make it last longer keeping Kevin as a monster in more episodes, but CN didn´t allow it.

Well, there was still some slight adult stuff in Catch a Falling Star and Couples Retreat. Jennifer occupied the same motel room as Capitain Nemesis and was almost naked in front of him - besides, the entire episode looked like something taken from CSI or any other policial series.  And it´s obvious that Darkstar and Charmcaster slept together.  Despite UA going downhill, I appreciated this flirting with adult rating, it showed how much potential Ben 10 has to be adaptated for grown-ups,  just like happened to Batman and other superheroes.  

 UAF reminds me the two Batman movies made by Tim Burton, while OV makes me thing of those disastrous sequels directed by Schumacker.  Now UAF needs a Cristopher Nolan, but it´ll probably take years until someone will see the light.

Even when the end of UA was so predictable, the plot about forever knights had potential. And finally Ben had a bone broked I'm agree with you, the stuff of UA had potential for grown-up. An unfinished or unexpected ending for UAF series had been awesome

They could have make something more terrifying with some of the strings they left loosen (probably already saving them for OV).  For example, Azmuth´s insistence that Eunice was dangerous.  Dangerous because she caused interference on the Ultimatrix?  Please.   What if Eunice suddenly lost control of her habilities and mutated in something... ok, that sounds like Kevin 11,  but something alike, dramatic and horrifying.  Or if Darkstar, Dr Animo or Albedo stole that recuerdo of Verdona from Max, to kidnap Gwen by shutting off her powers?   Dr Animo could try to get some of Kevin - or Aggregor´s - DNA to make some hibrids of Osmosian, instead of those pathetic pterodatyls.  (apparently, Animo knows how to leave Null Void, so he could pay Aggregor a visit )  He´s one who´s got the potential to be a terrible villain, some kind of Dr Moreau, but they always turn him into a kind of clown.   (well, considering that Joker was really a funny clown in Batman´s 60´s series and decades later became a horrifying monster though Heather Ledger... maybe it´s not all lost. I just hope to be alive yet to see this kind of change)

Darkstar, a main villian, that have sense. He's powerful, has access to plumbers, has previous relationship and hard feelings for turn him an energy vampire. Cool

Not mentioning his jealousy towards the feelings Gwen and Kevin share. Even though he doesn´t love her (he´s type who doesn´t love anyone but himself),  it hurts Michael the fact that she prefers someone to him. Typical of males.

But I still find funny that Dr Animo haven´t tried any experiments with Anodyte and Osmosian DNAs.  In the original series, he never lost an oportunity to get some sample of the Omnitrix, and in a Science Hero comic he even kidnapped Gwen because of her magic.  He never was my favorite villain, but I think he was wasted after the Voided episode.
