This one shows the ptoblem I had when I attempted tiling a little better then your other one - the center tile outshines the others. Know how I might fix that? Otherwise I think I get it...
Anyways, awesome job. Very surreal behind the diamonds, looks like the diamonds were tiled and the swirls added on.

I'm not sure how to fix it, but I kinda like it this way, it draws you in and holds your attention, while the others show different aspects of it.
Actually if you look deeper, you can see the tiled swirls too, they just like to hide.
