Hi there. This one is a mix, a little request and a little of something I wanted to draw.wanted her character Kyra to encounter an Engineer from Prometheus.
If they want to destroy humans i dont see a point they wouldnt want the same with Predator race.
And in my opinion- no single Predator would stand a chance against Engineer in a hand to hand combat.
Kyra found an Engineer ship and encountered the Engineer itself. He attacked her, knocked her out, she eventually scaped blowing the ship to hell with her removable self destruct device.

Their is cannon to dispute that, AVPR shows the helmet of an Engineer on the trophy wall, meaning at least once a Predator killed one and took it as a trophy.

I agree with Art-26, it all depends on the Predator. i mean the engineer would never stand a chance against a Dark Blade Elder Predator. But anyway amazing job

wow man, cool concept I just went and saw prometheus a few days ago and I was wondering who would win in a fight between a predator and an engineer. I think it depends on what type of predator, but anyways Awesome job!

Yeah expewrienced could handle engineer nicely but noobs like Berserker or those avp ones no possibility-in unarmed combat in my opinion engineer is stronger than predators and would win

first i saw it i was thinking it had eyes...but in a second those to be eyes shoot slimy tentacles...-soo big and it evolved into facehugger

Just saw Prometheus last night with my boyfriend. I think it was so cool. I love how you drew the engineer. And yeah, my predator character wouldn't be able to take one either. His name is Kai.

I am dissapointed i nthis movie-it could have been soo much more-but Ridley waysted the potential-maybe he is not the director he was when he shot first movie with xenos ...

It wasn't meant to be a direct prequel and it was meant to be different. I believe the movie was amazing and they left room for another one like it, perhaps a follow up to find out more about the Engineers reason for destroying humans. I believe part of the influence on the Engineers choices is possibly a strange religion which would explain their ritual like opening scene and the art and sculpture in the room David took the ooze capsule from. Everything is pretty much speculation but over all I wasn't disappointed.

I liked the movie-but it was cut too much- around 30 minutes,or more were cut-the final fight with engineer was longer for example, in the beggining of the movie there were elder engineers that guided the sacrificed one to create life o nearth. i am waiting for blue ray or how you call an uncut version

I have a theory on where the engineers fit in the predator side of the AvP universe, (even though people say it has nothing to do with avp)
Maybe the Predators were among a certain planet the Engineers seeded and were a primitive brutish race that excelled in killing the other life forms when the Engineers came and they came to revere the Jockeys as gods because they feared them. They even strive to emulate them by making crude metal masks to be like the armor the jockeys wore. But while the engineers used them as a sort of slave force the predators grew restless.
A revolution brooded and when an engineer ship returned the predators attempted struck but were easily outmatched by the engineer's strength and tech. However the engineer was sick because he had escaped from one the bases that went wrong and began to retreat from the revolution. however it crashed into a pyramid and came out, dying in front of them when a jockey-Xeno bursts from him. This proved to the predators the gods can die and they of course attempted to hunt the xeno when it escaped and came back as a full grown alien. They of course hunt it and find it formidable, thus starting the Xeno/pred traditional hunt. They also found a way to advance tech over thousands of years from the crashed ship and eventually made their own, becoming the preds we know today, searching for formidable prey among the gods.
That's my little theory that I made after seeing Prometheus. Good pic ^^

In my opinion the super pred ideais retarted-the 3 preds from predators were jus bad bloods-unhonorable normal predators that were killing anything-i didnt saw anything super out of them

well i will confess I loved all alien films including Alien ^3 and Resurrection
AvP was my first Alien or pred film on the big screen.
AvP-r was slightly disappointing but had some elements I liked.
Predator and Predator 2 were pretty cool and Predators was my fav film of 2010. I am also not afraid to admit that I rank Prometheus up there with Avengers as my fav movie of the season thus far.

Yeah people are still baffled how it took over 20 years for AvP to hit the big screens when so much good material got to the comics first and when it finally did hit it was nothing like the comics. Shows how moronic some of the execs are.
Let's just hope the Alien and predator franchises will see some return to form, these baby steps in other directions aren't enough.
