Here's a nice creepy screenshot I took from the Owl House episode "Thanks To Them". It's a shame they never revealed the full story of what happened between Philip, Caleb, and Evelyn. I believe the flooded graveyard plays a big part in their story. We know that's where the old portal that Caleb and Evelyn used was there. I theorize the graveyard wasn't always flooded. My theory is at some point Philip ratted Evelyn out to the townsfolk and the witch hunters all tried to kill her. Caleb rescued Evelyn and they both fled to the portal here. Before they left Evelyn used magic to flood the graveyard and keep the townsfolk from following them. Philip ran after them and tried to stop them but they already fled. He tried to swim across the flooded graveyard when some of the Titan Blood poured into the water, sending him to Eclipse Lake.
