Here's a nice screenshot from when Susan got big and the military took her away. Naturally she didn't realize it yet but this was the best thing that ever happened to her. Her wedding day was ruined but she dodged a bullet. She would've been miserable with Derek, plus his mom seemed nice but her thumb thing was weird and it's good to know she will never have kids with that. She also made great friends and possibly found a new family to call her own.
