Description
A Halloween stream for some creepy kids that I really need to pay more attention to than just during this part of the year :') Thanks everyone that popped in to say hi, watch, and fawn over my animals lol (we all know that they're really what you came to see c; ) Sylph was even kind enough to point it out to these tired eyes that this could also fit the prompt entry quite well, and I have just enough time to slide it in as an entry lol.
Tassos and OshiBaba are only two of my "creepy" or otherwise "spooky" kids, but they are the ones that most deserve the title: Tassos, the silent observer and sinister presence that you can always feel peering over your shoulder; and OshiBaba, the endlessly hungering. It's little wonder that the two loons would scrap over a patch of land - Tassos does not particularly enjoy ravenous creatures destroying their home. Neither left seriously injured, but I would not put it past OshiBaba to not try to come back. There's something so enjoyable about prey that puts up a fight.

so, is Tassos actually harmful towards others or is their presence simply unsettelling? i liked so far how passive they are all the time, ominously calm, like some slenderman watching from the treeline x) if they're friendly i might want to draw them with one of my loons some time. maybe also if they're not haha. you mentioned something about Tassos not liking his environment being destroyed? tell me more~
the picture itself is really nice. i like the dynamic and how Tassos in the background halfway fades into the surroundings like a ghost. the dutch angle helps the spook factor a lot

tbh they've changed a hint since I initially made them, but in general...yes X'D They're still very much the silent observer, not really interfering very much with the affairs of others. The exclusive exception is when there is a definitive threat posed by the presence of another loon, like Wren or as OshiBaba will grow to be.
They'll never really seek to interact with others except perhaps to warn someone of a perceived danger, but those that enter their forest (which they do 'claim' to a lot of forested land lol) are relatively safe, and even under their protection to some extent. Even with distinctive threatening loons, though, they'll usually keep their distance and observe so long as the intruder isn't being aggressive towards them, the forest, and those within. they don't really care about their intentions beyond the forest lines :')
I do love your comment about slenderman though, i consider that a tremendous achievement if I've displayed them like that X'DD
Beyond the devious scheming, thank you :'D <3 I had an idea for OshiBaba's pose and it just...got away from me a bit lol. I had a lot of fun with putting it all together :') Tassos will actually eventually have Shadow manipulation, so to fade into the forest would be something they'd very much be capable of doing eue Also had no idea that it was called a "dutch angle," this is interesting information to me '3'

If he doesn't want his forest to be destroyed then earlier or later he'll seriously clash with one of my loons ;3c
And he could be friendly with my Varekai since he has plant powers, is a nature boy and cares for the health of his forest/restores sick or destroyed land.
I like Tassos, and if OshiBaba will become what you imply i might want to implement him in my lore later

I'd be down for that! Both defenders of the forest, both astoundingly creepy kids to keep most of the baddies away lol. I could see them being chill :'D
I really intend for OshiBaba to become sort of a real-life boogeyman in Loonia, it'd be awesome to see them around in the lore of other packs :')

OshiBaba is gonna return and will TERRIFYING upgrades some day. Although, Tassos might be unassuming, but never underestimate the ones that chill your spine.

Ahh though thank you :') <3 I have used this colour scheme (or a variant of it) a few times before with pics regarding Tassos, which actually represents a full moon that i saw around the time that Tassos was created! The night is very much their time, and this colour scheme has always reflected them <:
oh yes though, OshiBaba will return eue of malicious intent or not, no one really knows X'D perhaps they'll just wander back and find their way to the forest again...but they'll definitely be a far greater force to be reckoned with eue Tassos will have some nicer upgrades of their own one day though, but only time will tell if it'll be enough to contend with OshiBaba!

I love the way you tilted this, and the sheer amount of energy and movement Oshibaba has! His expression is glorious - angry and afraid and promising retribution - while Tassos stands tall and silent in the background, a reminder that some things that go bump in the night pack a nasty kick!

I don't believe I mentioned in the stream how much I love the twist you've got going on with Oshibaba here, his far leg kicked out towards us as he furiously flees, Tassos simply observing in the distance... such good spoop going on here~
