Ryse hatched far upstream from the ocean that she feels pulling at her heart. In a strange land unfriendly to aquatic creatures, the ancient loon feels very alone, and mostly sticks to herself. She's not eager to try new things, and though she's friendly enough, she does not want to trouble other loons with her search for her home.

There's something about the big ole' feet and flippers on this and the avian ancient that are so... PLEASING to look at.   She's a graceful Nessie loon!
