Description
A friendo requested to see how I did my shading, so I made a simple shading tutorial to share with you guys <3 If you have any questions or if I didn't make something entirely clear, lemme know!I've also made a speedpaint to help convey exactly what I was doing. If you're interested in that, the link is below!
Would tutorials be something you guys would be interested in seeing more of? I've dabbled a bit in tutorials previously and kinda like doing them; it helps me break down my own process into steps and help me understand it more. If you wouldΒ like to see more tutorials, feel free to leave a comment and ask <3 I may not ever get to it right away, but it may be something that I post occasionally.

Definitely think I'll be trying this out sometime owo I've never done it this way round before - should be fun!Β
Edit: Just thought - what's the blur brush you use?Β

It's a style that I've been on the road to developing for a long time, mostly looking for a way of lazy shading...it works pretty okay so far X'D
I use a mix of the watercolour and blur brush in SAI! I've played around a lot with blending, dilution, and persistence of both brushes to get the effect that I wanted <:

Lazy shading that still looks good is a dream come true for me xD I've recently stuck to soft shading over cell because it's much quicker.
Thank you! I'll have an experiment with the settings ^^

I prefer this method over cell shading any day tbh X'D Much easier for me, and quicker <:
Of course <3 I look forward to seeing what you come up with!

If you insist c;
I dunno if I could do a Twine tutorial, but perhaps line thickness one day X'D Really that one's more of a whim, but I'm sure I could drum something up!
