Thank you, the mood I was going for was somber. The image is as-shot except for the de-saturation and addition of some glow and vignetting around the edges.

Thank you very much for the favorite! This was very much a grab shot. I set up the camera so I would get the background I wanted and then fired off a bunch of shots as the gull wheeled about overhead. The fine tuning of exposure and color balance I completed afterward in Photoshop.
