FINALLY. The last prize for the Valentines day event is finished. Loki had succeeded in taking control of Declan, and with his new slave in his command, he is prepared to have him kill all those trapped in the library and finish the ritual for true power... The first to be killed would be Declan's true love, Luca. Luca's last plea was for him to be killed first.

"The shadows clung to him. Like a prison he was meant to be in. He smiled still. His eyes grew darker. Every damn second felt like an eternity of hell... his processing speed spiraled downwards again. Luca's words were too fast to be audible, but three words came to his mind at just the right tempo to make out. 'Kill me first.'

Declan's smile turned into a frown. He could feel himself fading. He was fading. He wanted to say something, but the words wouldn't come to pass. He took too many seconds to grab his IPod/IPhone. He felt himself blank... he had to do that... he couldn't speak... everything turned into nothing...

...Lu...

Before he knew it, he had his IPod in front of him. The screen glowed with his last message of sanity to Luca. He tried to position it just right so Luca could see it. I'm sorry. ILY... and moving his arms around the boy, he felt himself fade...

...kill...

The word popped in his head.

Kill...?
