Nicely done. Pretty much sums up the whole Columbine event in one single image. Though I must say (side note) as a fan of KMFDM for more than two decades those two behind the shootings clearly did not understand what KMFDM was about. Anyhow, good work I like your style!

Oh, they understood, but had their own drive against the more common music industry (and culture in general) 'ideals'. The aesthetic style of the music still remained fitting, however (Industrial music being militaristic, alienated, dark and whatnot.)
I think they grew up in quite the same world as you or I or anyone else, going to school, going to work, observing media, observing the social world, and as such, had the same perspectives and ideas about it as anyone else, until they reached a point of inner turmoil/disgust with culture that ultimately won out. They knew quite well and consciously that people would generally hate and disagree with them for it.
But this is all of course subject to very long conversations.
