Ink sketch on paper I made last week. I just scanned it today.
I didn't pay attention to details. I just wanted to focus on the overall illusion.

Here I am
A poem by Katie Gabrielle
Here I am
Lost in Surrealism land
Walking a path of twists and turns
One wrong move
Crash and burn!
Just when I see the light of day
The game goes weird
And thoughts I fear
Along the paths of
Surrealism land
To play the game
You must take the blame
Pretty lame rhyming
just plain delirious!

This makes me dizzy just looking at it. For that, I think it's extremely successful.
I agree that a digital version would be "cleaner".. but it would lose a lot of charm for me, since the "imperfection" of hand-made pen and ink work is something of a novelty to find on deviantART, and I find it more effective than computer-corrected digital pieces.
I love the way the walls and floors bend and flow in this... and the amazing contrast of the red figure!

everywhere is the same intensity of light, but a strong 3dimensional effect. this makes a paradox effect!

You have a challenging way of expressing your emotions in this unique piece. This piece is of astonishing elegance yet still it is making a strong statement. You succeed to get in a piece of your mind in the messeage that the viewer is reciving by viewing your picture.
I am a quite stunned by your what I see.
