WAITING
A poem by Eileen Ramage
You are from a world I used to know
Things moved at the speed of light
In that place there was no slow
For those like us it was just right
Now here we are on planet Earth
Where everything takes so long
We even wait nine months for birth
I wish I knew where we went wrong
How did we get in such a state
Always waiting in some line
What have we done to bring such fate
I know it's not a choice of mine
Waiting for food, service and men
Waiting for red lights to turn green
Here we are now waiting again
I really don't think it's our scene
Do we slow down just like the rest
Living life at a slower pace?
No! I Think I'll give it my best
And be ahead of the Human Race

Hey this is something different
Because we all have it
Something so much different
Because of what we are
This is what truth is then
Everything to be come right
To set up and show again
On to the such kind of light
That is of its own worth
In bringing in so much to take
Of this and that from this earth
When everything is at stake
Of what it is henceforth made
To build it up always as new
The two sided of every its blade
That is to become clear through
Line from a line to a line
That never settles down to stop
But sometimes rain and sunshine
Is either its other side up

It seems to me that our world moves faster than it should (media-wise)

I think the world moves fast and it works.
But we, the poor animals that we are, just can't follow.

I doubt it. Inspiration is someone I spend a lot of time waiting for but he is occupied at someone else's abode. Probably having a nice glass of wine, getting laid and generally having a good time!
