It's Time to Wake Up

The days are going by,
Motionless black sea;
Through open unknown sky,
Into new times delivery.
The hours were strangers,
Joints are made of waves;
Burgeoning tracks and changers,
Thoughts that no one craves.
The sun flower's coming up,
In dancing shadows dying;
There is no ending or a stop,
Only the brief hours flying.
Borders of dim to follow,
Seeking some reflection veils;
Ancient light now hollow,
Fresh morning of other avails.
Switching off blinking stars,
Dancing dawn now rising;
The peaceful going memoirs,
Into colors of life devising.
Slowly the falling night skies,
Road is awaken with living;
It's time to wake up and rise,
Moments of morning giving.

A FANTASTIC photo, truly a work of art! The cup is very crisp and clear, very real...I have a hard time believing I am looking at a two dimensional image rather than the real object. I also love the way it is just the slightest bit off-center - this arrangement gives the impression of early morning, when one is just waking up and is not quite at the full momentum that full awakening brings.
The is a very gentle, but eye grabbing photo. The way the background is smoothly blurred sets off the foreground of the cup, and at the same time establishes a calm mood in the viewer's imagination.
Then finally, there is the dominate yellow. Having yellow as the main color ties all the elements together. It also allows one to feel the warmth of that morning sun.
Just gorgeous work. I have nothing negative to say.

This is such a warm looking piece... seems like a great way to start one's morning. Sit at a balcony with a cup of tea/coffee and watch the sun break over the waves...
You've really captured the wonderful lighting. The play of light and shadows on the cup and saucer makes me feel like I could reach through and take a sip. The water seems to be incredibly flat and glass-like... I think I would have liked this even more, if you could see more of a hint of waves. At the same time, that indistinct background is what makes the cup stand out.

The picture is very nice. As AmethystWinds mentioned, yes, its was a great idea to keep the cup to the right just a bit. It gives it a more unique look. And the colour just goes so perfectly with it- The orange-tone against a cream-toned cup.
It suggests calm, subtle, bucolic and majestic.
Its a very prodigious piece of work. = )

I love the title. Wonderful shot. Love the Soft Orange glow from the sun and this picture definatly makes me want a cup of coffee in the morning.
