full title is 'the red badger flies at midnight', but title character limits are stupidly short. |:so this was supposed to be a badger walking in some kind of shallow water with strange rainy clouds but it also looks like ice so OKAY ldfkgh
used pencil, copic markers, watercolour paints and white acrylic for the splattering (which my scanner completely ate) in my beloved moleskine
also for the weekly challenge at #ATC-Exchange , 'blue'. it was really nice to draw something with cool colours in all this hot weather!

that badger looks gorgeous, you really rendered the animal well, it looks realistic (ie. looks accurate to how the animal looks in real life) but is stylistic as well. The soft blue tones really work very nicely indeed

I hate the new kids books, all art is vectory like and stuff. No shading or anything. I love traditional art like this<3333 It's just beautiful

I could tell that they're rain clouds.
The whole piece has a rainy, melancholy feel to it. It's very emotive
