My first attempt at a triptych.
at the moment i'm exploring
linework in paintings,
an experiment that took me the entire journey
of getting through my earlier paintings
just to get to.
i got deathly bored of
making them in that
fashion i was originally.
so so so.
if i ever wanted to paint ever
again, i knew i would have
to try something new.
so here is something new.

it is slick and smooth and just a little bit goes a long way and it mixed so well with acrylics. get some!

It reminds me a lot of the illustrator Gary Baseman. Are you familiar with him?

Dangerous places? Gary Baseman? You haven't seen much of his work have you? He's one of the more controversial illustrators out there. I'll try to find some stuff and send it to you.

i mixed them together in some cases....the red and blues and whites will be gouache here. everything else as well as the darkdrak blue, those are acrylics

psst! she (yes it is a she) is going into verve cafe possibly starting tommorow (i really should make a flyer saying so, shouldn't i?)
she is for sale! and i would be able to knock away a hundred dollars just for little old you, if you want her.
(she is quite big big big with lotsa time inside--- so she'll be 600 officially in the cafe i think...)
