Great job! I am really impressed. I kind of thought the chasmfiend's head was a little more arrowlike. Other than that, this is amazing!

All this time I've been picturing them as giant hermit crabs, thank you for filling my nightmares with a more accurate rendition of chasmfiends

Not quite how I thought of a Chasmfiend, but a good way to look at them. I thought of them as more of hermit-crab looking things, but this works just as well

Awesome scene! And Sevault, good lifting posture just makes it accurate considering the size of the Fiend and also, Nephew not Son.

No offense, but that cape is too odd for me. It doesn't have the power that it did in toe book. When I was reading this, it was an insanely dramatic moment where Blackthorn uses his expertise to protect his son from the claw of the chasmfiend. While almost everything in this picture does it justice, his pose is less "RRRAAAAUGH" and more "Hup-ho, heave-ho, woo-hoo"

It's one of the best books ever written, along with the whole Mistborn series. There are so many memorably scenes in this story, so I'm grateful for any fan art, especially if it is as awesome as this one!

"DOWN BOY!"
And down he went. I can't help but think these things are what caused a lot of Dalinar's problems in uniting the Highprinces, what with their nigh priceless internal organs and such.
Unite them...
And would y'hurry it up?
Fate of the world and all that...
