So, I tried my hand at creating an expressive face again. Smiles are complex things. I was trying to draw her from memory to look kind of like the model Carlotta Champagne, who herself has the sweetest looking "girl next door" smile. (Beware before looking her up that she does primarily nude work, in case you're sensitive to that kind of thing.) It's not quite good enough to be called by her name, though. Still, I think it turned out well over all, especially for an expressive picture. I also was able to do better with the shading by deciding early in the drawing process which direction the light was coming from. Enjoy!No. 2 Pencil on drawing paper
