10x10 subdiv cubes with separate faces and an extrusion with 100% randomizer for the basic cube shapes?
That center cube looks fantastic, and I'm not even sure if it's actually as simple as I think it is.

It's just another cube, with a sphere through it (the glowing one) and another sphere that I made into an atom array

Darn, I was close! I figured the atom array, or regular array with cylinders fit to Object-Line at 100%.

I recorded what it did. Now, it only shows wireframes, no matter the settings

Im on my phone at the moment, but
