I have to say that Canon is the best camera company - from film to dslr. Great cameras that really produce great shots.

i am the same, pretty much. my first camera with a really cheap purple samsung. lol. but then my dad gave me my grandpas canon ae-1. i learned slr photography on that camera. and now have a canon rebel. i stick with canon because i know i can rely on my cameras.
