What I love about this is that, unlike many like it, the diptych creates a bit of character in itself, using the crack to align with the minimal remainder. You've created a single coherent image with two.

I like that. I'm really into cracks and other forms of wear and tears at the moment. There is an inherent beauty in these things, that the Japanese call "wabi sabi" that I've grown fond of.
