That would be awesome in the movie. I like how they have an insect feel without all the feelers and obvious stuff.

This was just Basic Material 2 i think? With 2-3 different lights. I think i also exported a 'Sketchgummy' material and put it over top in Photoshop on multiply to allow all the deep crevasses to show up.

Oh nice, they really compliment the exquisite details, even though its monochrome I get a great sense of the density and physical texture of the different parts. do you make two separate models for the two poses with mouth open and closed?
I've not heard of Sketchgummy, what's that?
