Description

Ever since she was a kid, Nadia was always energetic and hungry for thrills. Being naturally athletic, she was always encouraged by her parents to take up some kind of sport. Growing up in an English city of Blackburn, Nadia’s inspirations for sports could’ve been football or… football. So she ignored that and went with rock climbing instead, to satisfy her thirst for adrenaline. Nadia did it for a couple of years, until she was twenty years old. That’s when, on one fateful pub crawl she caught an MMA event playing on a small TV next to the counter. Instead of getting wasted with alcohol as usual, she was fully focused on the broadcast. Nadia was hooked from the start. Before she knew it, she watched the whole thing. “This is it!” She thought to herself.

The very next day, she signed up to a gym where she could train. In the competitive environment of a combat sports gym she found out very quickly about herself, that she was extremely confrontational. Nadia was challenging people left and right. Either to get some experience, or settle a petty argument. No matter the size or skill level of her opponents. Even though, as a beginner she would lose most of the fights, Nadia was too stubborn to quit. That’s when she got the nickname “Napalm”. A fire that can’t be put out. Nadia adopted the nickname, and now no one refers to her by her real surname anymore.

During training, Nadia would find herself practicing a plethora of martial arts. From boxing to jiu-jitsu, she would have to get at an acceptable level at all of them by her coaches, before she was presented with the opportunity of a professional, sanctioned fight.

Eventually, after two years of training and amateur fights, Napalm made her pro MMA debut. Now with a fight record of 7-3 she has become a fan favorite because of her personality and incredible resilience. Even though she’s better at grappling, she prefers to stand and bang with her opposition, and take the fight to the ground as a last resort. Adjusting to her opponent’s behavior, she can be either respectful or be the most taunting bastard in the league, dropping her guard on purpose, flipping the bird, all that good stuff.

Even though she has losses on her pro record, she never got submitted or knocked out. Because of that, Napalm has a target on her back. Many fighters want to be the first ones to knock her out in the octagon.

Outside of the cage she has mellowed out a bit since her rookie days. but still has her competitive spirit, and will gladly accept any fight offer. She even managed to make a few friends this way, that value her as more than just a sparring partner.

Authors note: This has been a long time coming, but I've held back on writing up a character bio because:
1. I'm not a good writer.
2. I kept forgetting to actually sit down and do it.
3. I didn't know if anyone would actually care.
