Valiant Combat Gym is a fairly closed environment. Very rarely, they poke their heads out to the public. Although it sometimes happens, and this was one of those occasions. You see, after Lisa's trip to France , the club was in a much better financial situation. So much so, that they decided to book a small venue and hold some open sparring sessions where anyone could join. It was meant as a celebration for all the time spend together and for much more to come.

One of the more peculiar spars, was when Nadia sparred with Sabrina Collins, a fighter competing at a local circuit. One of the few fighters that actually matched Nadia's height, at 6'1. The spar was in regular MMA rules, and while strikes and footwork were at regular speed, they were holding back their force, as no one wanted to risk an injury. Eventually, the fight went to the ground, and Nadia managed to gain the upper hand, managing to lock in an armbar submission. Nadia didn't wrench it all the way, but just enough to signal that this was the moment she should give.
