Thank you. Hmm? I think part of what you wrote got cut so I'm unsure if you are saying you can't believe I don't like it or that you like it? I have yet to see the remake. I'm very stubborn on that since I love the original. However I like the tv series but haven't watched the whole first season yet. Love Bruce Campbell.

Thank you, I appreciate that. For some reason the image isn't coming out right when I uploaded it on DA. I love Evil Dead as well. Shame I'm so behind on the show. I have yet to watch the 2013 remake of Evil Dead though. Just can't do it. Bruce Campbell not being the main protagonist just makes it already unbearable for me. Ash is what makes Evil Dead awesome. I pretty much watch anything with Bruce Campbell in it.

I didn't know how I felt about the 2013 remake either but I have to say I ended up really enjoying it. It's not as campy, fun & B movie as the originals & more of a straight forward horror movie. Bruce was a producer on it and had a cameo in the movie so that helped for me because I see him as the soul of The Evil Dead I'm a huge fan of his work as well.

My friend pretty much told me the same thing. I want to be open minded about it but still find it hard. It's the same plot but with different characters and Bruce has a small part. From the previews the effects look cool in it. I think if it was an Evil Dead movie with a different plot then the classic as well as Bruce having a much bigger role in the film I would have seen it even if it's a darker or serious movie and his classic Ash sarcasm was taken out. Maybe someday I will if or when I get past my own views on it. Ditto!

I have to be honest I can't blame you, though I really like it and think it's a great horror movie and it actually does have a lot of differences from the original as far as characters and their storylines and development. It's definitely not in the same caliber as the originals in my opinion. And more Bruce would have definitely made it that much better.

I'm just stubborn when it comes to some reboots or remakes of anything. Especially when I already seen the original. I rarely loved or enjoyed many remakes or any newer horror movies tbh. If I looked at it possibly from a different perspective or perhaps not thinking of it a Evil Dead movie I might be able to watch it. Bruce is just awesome
