It was warm today, so guess what I spent the day doing?Names (???, Buttercup?, Tulip, ???, Foxglove??)
The last one took the longest, it was almost dark by the time I finished!
It was also windy, so this is kinda how my drawing sessions went:

Me: "Arg!! Hold still!"

Me: "Please hold still! You know, that Tulip over there is holding more still than you... Maybe I should draw it instead! How would you like that?"

Me: "You know, people are going to think I'm crazy because I talk to flowers... They'd only be half right though, I'm not crazy because I take to flowers, I talk to flowers because I'm crazy!"

Me: "Hold still, darnit!"

Thanks! These were quite challenging, but I'm really happy with how they turned out. I wish the Magnolia had turned out as nice as these, as it was my favorite. I'll just have to draw it again when it stops raining.

really nice work Ben. I can see a lot more control in your work lately. have you tried a tortillion for shading yet? will give you some nice middle tones in your grays and soften away some of the outline edges.
