Description
This is a compilation of all (well, most of) the characters from the "EverQuest: the Animated Adventures" website I made a little while back. As you may notice, everyone here is done in Bruce Timm's "Batman/Superman Adventures" style, and the site is so close to realistic that I STILL get emails asking where the series can be purchased on DVD
... I would love to make this series one day, but that requires bucks that I just don't have.Forgive the fact that a lot of the characters have white mipmapping around them, they were all originally standing by themselves in their little sections and I didn't feel like digging up their PSD versions so I just dragged them into the scene and magic-wanded most of the white around them away and lazily scaled up the bigger cast members, muahaha

Dude, awesome. Well done. Very fond memories of EQ here. I found this as I was making a card for my wife's birthday and was drawing our characters with a bunch of EQ mobs surrounding them.

Ok, so here's a question .....who are is the hottie redhead with the sword, she kinda look's like a bruce timm version of kim possible !
Also, who's the redhead in the kilt (?) as well as the blonde next to her and the brunette wearing the brownish leotard and tights behind "red" in the kilt ?

The first one is Eileen Lochinvar, while the second is Olethros et Teleute. The blonde is Firiona Vie, EverQuest's main spokescharacter, and the brunette in leotards is Kyrenne. You can find all their bios on the main EverQuest Animated Adventures website at [link] . Thanks for the comment

This drawing helps bring back good memories of the OLD school graphics... not the updated Luclin models. Very nicely compiled.

I never cared too much for the post-Luclin graphics, either -- it was like they were trying to achieve a sense of hyper-realism and only ended up taking away the magic in the process (World of Warcraft and City of Heroes know better though, thank goodness). I enjoyed the earlier character designs much more, hence my choices

I respectfully disagree. I too have many fond memories of the old-school graphics, but I don't believe that not having characters with cubical heads or trees made of cardboard takes away any of the magic of the game. In fact, I would say WoW goes too far in the other direction! I look at WoW graphics and feel like I'm watching some sort of Disney adaptation of Warcraft. And while I love and play EQ2, I believe it is guilty of the empty hyper-realism you speak of. Sure the graphics are technically fantastic, but they just don't have the appeal of EQLive graphics. The PC models just seem...boring. As for EQLive (and CoH, for that matter), I think that it's found the happy middle ground.

Can you imagine how much trouble it was to get the characters to pose and not kill each other?
I remember the superman cartoons that used to be on channel 11 (Wb) before cartoons broke my heart.
I heard the Everquest rts sucked, so you might want to avoid it.
